Banijay brings Luminiscence to St. Patrick's Cathedral
Banijay is expanding its Luminiscence immersive franchise into the U.S. with an installation at New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral that opens Oct. 1 and runs through the end of the year. The Lotchi-created show uses light, music and choral performance and will be narrated by actor Jonathan Roumie. Banijay says the franchise has drawn 2 million visitors across 20 productions in eight countries. Cathedral leaders, including Archbishop Ronald Hicks, express support, citing shared commitment to care for the historic space and preserve the cathedral's organ, and ticketing and experience options will vary.
