NECO registrar Wushishi elected AEAA vice-president
Prof. Dantani Wushishi, registrar and chief executive officer of Nigeria's National Examinations Council (NECO), was elected vice-president of the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA) at the association's 42nd conference in Arusha. The AEAA General Assembly also awarded Nigeria the hosting rights for the 2027 AEAA conference set for Abuja from 16 to 20 August 2027. Wushishi previously represented the West African sub-region on the AEAA Executive Council and has led NECO reforms since 2021, including expanded technological infrastructure and examinations in eight foreign countries, strengthening Nigeria's regional standing.
