3iQ to manage Gelephu Mindfulness City's bitcoin mandate

3iQ and Gelephu Mindfulness City announced a strategic partnership in which 3iQ will manage a dedicated mandate backed by a portion of GMC's bitcoin treasury. The move follows GMC's December 2025 allocation of up to 10,000 Bitcoin from Bhutan's national holding and is intended to help build a next-generation institutional-grade digital asset management ecosystem in Gelephu. 3iQ also plans to invest in local talent, transfer knowledge, and maintain a long-term presence, steps that GMC says will support the city’s goal of becoming a digital offshore financial center and attract global asset managers.
