French police allege that an 18-year-old known online as 'Lester Z' continued to direct an organised robbery and abduction network from a Villepinte prison cell using Snapchat, after his arrest on 19 August and formal charges on 21 August in Nanterre for procuring and organised robbery. Forensic prints from a discarded delivery box and two phones seized from his cell led investigators to compile a list of 26 addresses and profiles, which reportedly included jewellers, wholesalers and footballer Kylian Mbappé; no attempt on Mbappé has been reported and the investigation is ongoing.
