Police charge three after 500kg ketamine seizure in West Yorkshire
West Yorkshire Police and the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit recovered approximately 500kg of ketamine, with an estimated street value of £10 million, during a raid at an address on Rose Avenue in Upton, near Pontefract. Officers found 20 black binbags of the Class B drug in what is believed to be the UK's second-largest single seizure of ketamine. Three men were arrested and charged: Curtis Binns, 32, charged with possession with intent to supply and money laundering; Paul Turner, 40, charged with possession with intent to supply; and Christopher Wills, 42, charged with supplying, and all have been remanded and are due at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.
