VinFast and GSM appoint young executives to global leadership roles
Vingroup's VinFast and GSM confirmed a set of senior leadership changes as both companies accelerate international expansion and hand more operating responsibility to younger executives. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, born in 1993 and appointed VinFast Global chairman in May 2026, will also become CEO of VinFast Global and concurrently serve as chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam; he will continue to lead VinMetal. GSM promoted Nguyen Quoc Tuan to chairman and named Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, born in 2000, as GSM Global CEO and GSM Vietnam CEO. The changes coincide with VinFast's presence in 16 countries, four manufacturing sites, and GSM's plans to enter at least three more markets in 2026 and pursue an international listing.
