SpaceX launches final three O3b mPower satellites
SpaceX launched three final O3b mPower satellites (F11, F12 and F13) during an 87-minute window that opened at 2:49 p.m. Eastern, placing them into medium Earth orbit roughly 5,000 miles up. That completes SES's 13-satellite mPower constellation, a project more than a decade in the making after Boeing and SES first contracted SpaceX. The network is aimed at enterprise customers — airlines, cruise lines, offshore energy, telecom backhaul and governments — and can be combined with Starlink under a 2023 partnership to mix Starlink speed with O3b mPower steady capacity.
