Police move migrants to new camp in Ceuta
Spanish police began moving hundreds of migrants in Ceuta to a new tented site in the port area after weeks of people living on beaches, with reports of shots fired into the air as some broke through cordons. The camp has capacity for 1,700 people and officials said more than 3,000 migrants were transferred in the operation that deployed over 170 officers and drone technicians. Most of the 72,000 who breached the border in July have returned, but more than 13,000 remain, and at least 100 people died during the crossing.
