Court convicts members of Last Defense Wave
2 دقيقة قراءة
A Hamburg court convicted and sentenced seven members and one supporter of the right-wing extremist group Last Defense Wave on charges including attempted murder, arson and aggravated assault, and found them to be members or supporters of a terrorist organization. The defendants, aged between 14 and 21 at the time, were tried under juvenile law and given prison terms ranging from one and a half to five years, with the youngest sentence suspended; rulings can be appealed. Prosecutors said the group planned and carried out arson and bomb attacks on asylum shelters and left-wing facilities, engaged in so-called "pedo-hunting," and that some planned attacks were prevented, with additional detentions in June.
